About Us

Mark Berman

Chief Executive Officer

Mark Berman is CEO of Advanced Energy Products Corp, (AEP) where he oversees the Company’s business development and strategy. Previously, he served as Director of Business Development, Vice President and President of Davis Energy Group (DEG) over a period of 18 years. Under his direction, DEG became one of the largest providers of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes program. Starting in 2008, Mark led Davis Energy Group into the residential retrofit arena, managing home energy upgrade programs in Davis, San Joaquin County, the East Bay, Sonoma County, and Los Angeles County, California. These programs included outreach, marketing and bulk purchasing of materials and equipment for retrofit. The bulk purchasing program became the basis of AEP. In the Spring of 2015, DEB merged with GTI International, and AEP spun off as an independent company under Mark’s leadership. Mark’s interest in energy is wide ranging. He began his career in the oil and gas exploration business and soon realized his real passion was on the energy efficiency side of the business. He holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Indiana University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University.

Bob Rispoli

Vice President

Bob Rispoli is VP of Advanced Energy Products. With a background of more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience in companies with revenues in excess of $100 million. Bob spent the last twenty years as a Purchasing Manager, as well as managing the Procurement operations for a large North Bay and Sacramento area home builders. This vast amount of experience has given Bob a broad understanding of bulk purchasing, sales, manufacturing and distributors. This experience assists him in performing his duties as key contact for Advanced Energy Products. Bob manages the day to day operations and oversees the purchasing. The company sells high quality, high efficiency materials and equipment for residential and commercial renovation, retrofit and energy upgrade products. Bob is a licensed contractor, and certified under several courses through ASHRAE and PG&E as well as a past arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Bob has a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco.

David Knox


David has worked in various positions at several different types of facilities and has over 20 years of working experience in the golf industry. He fell in love with the game as a caddie at Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester, Michigan. A Class A Certified PGA Professional (General Management) and former ESPN Golf Schools instructor, he has learned to teach the sport from some elite instructors – Hank Haney, Tim Mahoney, Ed Bowe. David has a genuine passion for growing the game and keeping the industry viable for decades to come. David served on the NCPGA Section Board of Directors from 2013-2015 as the President of the North State Chapter, and worked for Troon Golf for 14 years. He currently works for Advanced Energy Products located in Davis, CA, helping course operators lower operating costs through energy efficiency projects geared towards golf operations.
